PARTNER MUNICIPALITY > HERMANVILLE-SUR–MER
PARTICIPATING PRIMARY SCHOOL > ÉCOLE D’HERMANVILLE-SUR–MER

Born in 1963, he lives and works in Paris.

Fred Sapey-Triomphe’s first interest was painting, but he very quickly turned to photography and video. He soon abandoned questions of framing and composing the fixed image in favour of creating environments in movement. Working in reference to Op Art, kinetic art and manga, Sapey-Triomphe uses light as the raw material of his images. All of the technology’s playful qualities are employed to provide viewers with an immediate visual experience.
