JONATHAN LOPPIN N5
ARTIST INVITED BY LE 180 ESPACE D’ART CONTEMPORAIN DE LA VILLE DE ROUEN
PARTNER MUNICIPALITY > OUISTREHAM
PARTICIPATING PRIMARY SCHOOL > ÉCOLE JEAN CHARCOT
Born in 1977, he lives and works in Rouen.
Jonathan Loppin creates installations in reaction to the history and features of the sites on which he produces them. His works give rise to confused perception and initiate strange fictions charged with tension. He examines memory, representations and sentient experiences, sometimes creating unease on the part of the viewer. Loppin sees the role of the artiste as that of revealing.
